making driving from your wheelchair or travelling up front next
to the driver more accessible than ever. The Sirus ‘Switch’ is
based on the Fiat Qubo M-Jet Dynamic; semi-automatic,
1.3 Litre Turbo Diesel engine. The vehicle is both practical
and spacious inside.

Sirus has recently developed our Fiat Qubo ‘Active’ Internal Transfer solution which allows you to transfer from your wheelchair to a standard driver’s seat safely inside the vehicle.

Once you have entered the vehicle from the rear, we will recommend a device in order to lock your wheelchair into position. Sirus fit an Autoadapt 6 way seat enabling a comfortable, stress free transfer. The 6-Way Base (for more details on this chair please visit www.autoadapt.co.uk) is designed with focus on the safety of the driver. When seated at the wheel you use the vehicle’s original seat belt. The seat is designed to provide complete stability. It is essential that a driver has stable seating, which doesn’t sway when making turns or wobble on rough roads. The seat base is crash tested according to global and European standards and has also been designs to blend well with the vehicle’s interior design.

Depending on where your chair is secured in the vehicle, you may be able to have an additional double fold down seat in the rear, or the standard up front passenger seat.
