We are delighted to inform you that on 21st April 2009, Her Majesty the Queen’s Birthday, Sirus Automotive were awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise in the category of Innovation. The UK’s most prestigious award recognises outstanding business and is granted only to those who maintain the highest of standards; companies who show outstanding innovation, business performance and commercial success. To receive the award, Simon and Russell were invited to Buckingham Palace to meet Her Majesty The Queen. Upon arrival of the evening ceremony, Her Majesty had picked Sirus out as one of the companies she wanted to meet personally to discuss our converted vehicles. Russell commented on the event “It was an amazing evening, meeting the Queen in person is something I never even imagined. Sirius at the Best of the Black Country Awards Sirius at the Best of the Black Country Awards

I am thrilled to announce that Sirus Automotive triumphed at the Best of the Black Country awards held on Thursday 28th November. Sirus won not only one, but two awards placing first in Young Business of the Year and Business Growth and Innovation. The black tie event was held in the Bonser Suite at Walsall Football Club. Compere for the evening was ITV Central news presenter Llewela Bailey, who said: “I don’t think that 12 months ago anyone had any idea of what 2008 would bring. To have even survived is testimony to the determination and spirit of innovation that prevails in the Black Country. Simon Pearson, co-director enthused “I can’t believe we have won two awards, it means so much to us to get this kind of recognition after the last four years building the business. It is something really special.”

Sirus sponsor 2011 Disabled Motoring UK Awards

Sirus Sponsor DMUK’s Awards Disabled Motoring UK held their first DMUK Awards this September. The awards recognises those who have made a positive contribution to the day-to-day lives of disabled individuals or inspired them to live their lives to full, regardless of their circumstances. Sirus sponsored the Get Going Category, which honours someone who has worked to inspire and engage with young people with disabilities in order to improve their mobility. We were delighted to announce the winner of this category was racing driver Nicholas Hamilton, pictured below. Well done to all of the winners! We look forward to next year’s event.
